Over two weeks, they learned to turn ideas into plans, build with AI, debug and iterate — then launch and present their own work.

Before the first build, we asked students why they joined, what they hoped to learn, and what they wanted to create with AI.
Students moved from an idea to a working project — learning to direct AI, evaluate its output, solve problems, iterate, and take ownership of what they created.

Turn ideas into working software through planning, experimentation, debugging, and iteration.
Demonstrate the finished project, explain key decisions, reflect on challenges, and share what comes next.
Throughout the bootcamp, students built 6+ projects, including their own personal homepage and a series of interactive games. Games became a creative medium for learning how to build with AI, experiment with ideas, debug problems, and make each project their own.

The camp helped me see AI in a new way… I’m leaving this camp with more curiosity, new ideas, and excitement for what the future can bring.
I had a great 2 weeks here at the Future Wrights Academy’s Summer AI Bootcamp. I learnt a lot about launching and creating a live website. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
This AI bootcamp helped me learn about how artificial intelligence works and how I can use AI tools effectively. It also helped me improve my problem-solving skills and boosted my creativity by giving me opportunities to work on different games and websites.
My experience at Future Wrights has taught me more than the use of VSCode or the structure of prompting; it has enabled me to follow my passion of creating a study website with the assist of AI.
For me, Future Wrights Academy helped me a lot. Whether it was for coding, debugging, or any kind of advice, they were there. I built over 15 websites/games thanks to them. I enjoyed Future Wrights, & hope to come back!
This two weeks were so much fun. Sometimes it did not feel like a class because of how friendly everyone was.

Building software gave students something tangible to create. But the broader goal was to develop the ways of thinking required to work effectively with AI.
Understand what generative AI can do, where it can fail, and why human judgment remains essential.
Communicate goals clearly and provide AI with the information and constraints it needs.
Translate an idea into requirements, steps, and an actionable build plan.
Break a larger problem into smaller components that can be understood, built, and improved.
Test results, diagnose problems, revise approaches, and learn from unsuccessful attempts.
Explain what was built, justify decisions, demonstrate the work, and identify opportunities for improvement.
On the final day, students took the stage to demonstrate what they built, explain their decisions, reflect on challenges, and share where they would take their project next.

Summer 2026 showed what can happen when students are given the tools, guidance, and space to move from using AI to creating with it.
