No prior coding required. You build by describing what you want in plain English, and GitHub Copilot — the same AI coding assistant used by professional developers worldwide — helps turn it into real, working code. The skills students practice (clear prompting, planning a build, breaking it into components, and finding and fixing bugs) are exactly what working builders do.
A laptop — Mac or Windows, any modern model. We use Visual Studio Code as our editor, and while it can technically run in a browser on Chromebooks, the desktop version gives students the reliable, professional-grade workflow the bootcamp is built around. Chromebooks aren't ideal — please bring a Mac or Windows laptop. We confirm device details with each applicant on the application form, so if you're unsure whether your laptop will work, just tell us and we'll let you know. If a laptop is a barrier, mention it when you get in touch — we can usually arrange a loaner for the bootcamp duration.
Students use GitHub Copilot — the same AI coding assistant used by professional developers worldwide — running inside Visual Studio Code. Alongside it, we introduce ChatGPT for planning and brainstorming. All AI tools we use are approved for students 13+ under their terms of service, and each student's account is set up with parental consent captured on the application. Every tool is included in tuition — there's no software fee on top. After camp, students can keep building with GitHub's free Student Developer Pack, so the skills travel home.
Yes — students from across the GTA are welcome. Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Oakville, and beyond. We pick venues that are transit-accessible (subway and GO Transit), with a real classroom space — not a hotel ballroom.
The venue is 60 Scarsdale Rd, Unit 100, North York, ON M3B 2R7 — a real classroom space in North York, transit-accessible by subway and bus.
We provide a recap and a 1:1 catch-up session with a mentor. The bootcamp is intensive — we strongly encourage full attendance, but life happens, and we don't penalize for one missed day. Missing more than two days is usually a sign the timing isn't right; we'd rather defer enrollment than rush.
Not required. Parents are warmly invited to Demo Day on the final day — students give a short pitch and parents try the app each student built, live, in front of the room. The day is loud. There are stakes. It's the moment that makes the whole two weeks make sense.
A short written application (a few sentences about why the applicant wants to take it and what they'd hope to build), then a short conversation with our program lead. Decisions within two business days. Rolling intake until the cohort fills.
Tuition for the 2026 launch cohort is $1,299 CAD — a $400 discount off the standard $1,699 rate. This is the price for our first-ever summer cohort, and it covers the full 2-week bootcamp with all materials and tools included. Payment is collected by Interac e-Transfer after we accept your application; we'll send the recipient details with your admission. Need-based scholarships are available; mention this on your application or email us directly.

We don't. Most short-form AI courses do, and most of those certificates aren't worth much. What students leave with — a deployed app on a real URL, a Demo Day presentation they've delivered, and a portfolio of projects — is harder to fake and more useful in any college application, interview, or real-world setting.
If a verification record is needed for a school program or scholarship, we'll provide one on request, signed by the lead instructor.
The apps each student builds keep running on their public URLs after the bootcamp ends — friends can use them, siblings can use them, students can keep iterating. Many keep building on their capstone or start new projects with the same tools through the school year.
