At Future Wrights, students leave with real portfolio projects they can discuss with university admissions teams, co-op interviewers, and future mentors.
Each program is led by qualified educators and working practitioners, not generic tutors following a script. Our curriculum complements school and is aligned with Ontario Ministry expectations.
Cohorts are intentionally small, with regular mentor feedback so students are supported as individuals. And your child does not need to be a "tech kid" to begin — AI Labs is built around using AI well across subjects, interests, and future paths.

The questions families and students ask first.
Is AI even a good thing for teens to learn right now?
It is the right question to ask. AI is already part of the academic and working life today's students are heading into. They'll either learn to use it well, or use it badly without guidance. Two thirds of Canadian students already use AI tools and report that they are learning less as a result, because nobody taught them how. That is the gap we close.
We don't teach AI as a magic productivity hack. We teach it as a skill set with judgment, ethics, and limits, the same way good schools used to teach research before the internet.
What credentials do your instructors have?
Our curriculum is designed and managed by senior faculty on our core team: university professors with appointments at the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University. Courses are led and taught by those same faculty members, supported by qualified graduate students from their labs and by AI practitioners from industry who have shipped real products.
All instructors are police-checked. We are happy to introduce you to the likely instructor on your info call.
How is this different from a YouTube course or a generic AI bootcamp?
Three things. First, students do, they don't watch. Every cohort is built around projects students actually finish, taught in real time by senior faculty. Second, the curriculum is mapped to Ontario Ministry expectations and built around portfolio pieces students can show on a university application. Third, top students continue into mentored, paid work on real client problems through our AI Studio.
Is it safe? What about screen time, privacy, and AI ethics?
Safety is a starting point, not an add-on. We use age-appropriate tools, follow data-handling practices appropriate for under-18 students, and teach the judgment to use AI ethically as part of every module. Parents have visibility into what their child is working on and with whom.
On screen time: our programs are doing-focused, not video-watching. Students spend time building, discussing, and presenting.
What does it cost, and are scholarships available?
Pricing depends on the stream and format. AI Labs short modules start at the workshop level; the University Track is a semester-long program. Industry Track placements are by invitation and may include paid stipends.
We are pursuing IRAP and OCI innovation funding to subsidize spots for partner schools and need-based students. Sibling discounts and need-based scholarships are available; please ask on your info call.
What if a student isn't a "tech kid"?
That is most of our students. AI Labs is built around using AI well in any subject: writing essays, doing research, organizing schoolwork, exploring complex topics. No prior coding required.
How do I enroll?
Two ways in. If you'd like to talk first, book a 20-minute info session — we'll discuss the student's goals and point you to the right program. If you already know the program, apply directly through our application form. Either way: no sales pitch, no auto-enroll.
